A Latvian composer who takes his inspiration from classical, jazz and film music. He began to explore jazz music in 2011 while studying with Raimonds Petrauskis and Andris Dzenītis, then at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music studying with Madars Kalniņš, Tuomo Uusitalo and the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg, Denmark, studying with Søren Møller and Kenneth Dahl Knudsen.
